This is my entry for the Draw This Again contest.

There is 18 months between these two drawings.

Still not happy with it!
Another couple of hours would have been good, but I was losing the will to live!!
LOL

She is pretty, but her face is so difficult to draw.
She has tiny eyes, and a weird shadowy thing round her bottom lip and a shadow that comes from her eyebrows and joins the top of her nose ... :rofl:

There is a lot of drawings I would like to do again, I just don't have a spare few years!!:laughing:

I can't wait till i feel ready to do this.
The newer drawing has a much more smoother, even use of tone and the hair is neater. The new artwork shows more shadow and defined shapes. And darker tones.
But then i like how the hair looks a little more scruffy in the old picture, it's more realistic.

For me, it's a tie. I can't decided which one I prefer. I like the crispness of the after picture, and the eyes are definitely better than they were before. I love the hair as well with the neatness, but that's where I like the first one as well. I like the wildness of the first ones hair, and the way that it isn't too perfect. And because of me being me, I can notice that in the more recent picture, you have done the ends of the hair differently than the first one, but it is also different to the reference as well because of this. Also, in the first one, the face shape is more like the reference. In the more recent picture, the cheeks stick out a little more and at the top of her parting her hair isn't as straight as you have made it, if you understand that. Oh, and the bracelet, you have only got the love (which is better than the first) but you haven't added the 'in'. However, I love them both very much and I love different aspects from each picture, but I do love the more recent picture more because of the crispness, and I love that effect! :)
